EASY PEASY TURMERIC PORRIDGE

Turmeric boasts so many health properties, especially associated with anti- inflammatory and even proven to support cognitive performance. Therefore, perfect to kick start your day!

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 30g Oats
  • 1 tsp. Turmeric
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 100-200ml Coconut milk

Toppings:

  • 1-3 tsp. Plain yogurt
  • ½ Banana
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Flaked almonds
  • Desiccated coconut

Method:

1.     Place the oats, turmeric and cinnamon in a saucepan and cover with coconut milk. Keep on a medium heat until you have reached the consistency you prefer, you may want to add more milk.

2.     Pour into a bowl. Slice up your banana. Put the yogurt in the middle and then add the fruit, almonds and coconut.
