This is where it started: mixing risotto rice, raspberries and coffee for a slap up lunch. Luckily I have begun discovering flavours and combinations that marry together a little better these days.
My grandma taught me how to bake, I baked my first Victoria sponge with her, using old fashioned scales; the kind where you have to make sure either side is balanced. Often taking almost the same time as baking the cake.
Throughout my teens I played sports every day, for my school and local clubs. This gave me an insight into the importance of nutrition and diet with exercise. Every weekend was spent riding for my pony club and the weekdays were spent playing hockey, netball, or tennis.
At University I was lucky enough to be selected for the hockey first team, as a fresher in my first year. This was my greatest challenge, as juggling health, exercise and a social life is never easy, especially at Uni. I’ve now graduated with a 2:1 reading BA (Hons) Business and Management.
Now I have a little free time on my hands I wanted to create this blog to share my favourite recipes, both new and old. They are designed to be super tasty, easy and fit into any routine. Hope you enjoy them!
Lots of love,
